This website is owned and operated by the Hong Kong International School Parent Faculty Organisation (the “PFO”). These Terms & Conditions of Use (the “Terms”) set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors general information about the PFO, how you can engage with and support the PFO (including volunteering, use of social media platforms, connecting to online content and supporting the PFO philanthropically), the face-to-face and online programs and activities organized by the PFO and some products and services offered for sale through our online store. 
By accessing or using the website of our service, you acknowledge and agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

The PFO is committed to supporting the privacy of HKIS students, faculty and alumni, and friends of the PFO who use this site by requiring all users of the website and its services to agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Online Store

The PFO online store is not intended for use by minors.  If you are under 18 years of age, you are not authorized to use the PFO online store.

We use a third party payment processor to process payments and financial information.  Payments may not be processed for certain activities such as illegal or other prohibited activities.  Your relationship with our third-party payment processor is separate from your relationship with the PFO and may be governed by the terms and conditions contained in the processor’s agreement. PFO is not responsible for the actions or omissions of any third-party payment processor.

Certain uses of this website or any of the information obtained through these services which are inconsistent with the purpose of this website, constitute a violation of this policy and are prohibited. Such prohibited uses include but are not limited to activities that are illegal (e.g., are fraudulent or violate copyright or other laws), and use that inaccurately implies endorsement, approval, or sponsorship by the PFO (or any individual director or officer of the PFO). The may deny further access to all or a portion of the website to anyone who violates this policy.

The PFO may modify these Terms at any time in its sole discretion without notice. All changes are effective at the time we post them, and those changes will apply to any subsequent access and use of the website by you. Each time you access this PFO website, you will be deemed to have accepted any such changes. If we do modify these Terms, we may (at our discretion) provide you no notice or notify you of such changes via e-mail at the e-mail address you provided to the PFO at the time of registration.

Any and all such claims and disputes shall be brought in, and you hereby consent to them being decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Hong Kong. The application of the United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is hereby expressly excluded.
